Walnut Coffee Table

Walnut drop leaf coffee table. Water marks are visible after the finish has been removed.
The tops are dull from the flash off after applying grain filler.




Ready to return to the customer.








Tilt-top Table Leg Repair

Someone had tried to re-attach this leg with 2 large wood screws instead of replacing the broken dowel pin.
The dowel pin hole for the broken leg has been cleared to receive a new pin when the leg is re-glued.

The repair block being glued to the leg.


The leg repair block has been shaped to take the profile of the leg.



The 2 unbroken legs were loose and needed to be removed and reglued. One leg had a fractured pin.




Legs repaired, the table is ready to be returned.

Cherry Drop Leaf Dining Table

Cherry drop leaf dining table with water damage to center section. I am going to remove finish from the top surface of the 3 sections, repair the damage, and then apply a new finish.
The damaged area is a strip of sap wood. The top had gotten wet while in storage. The white area is unprotected wood.

Damaged area has been stained to match other sap wood.


Rubbed out and ready to be assembled to the base in the back ground.

Penn House Cherry 5/0 Poster Bed

The finish repair is complete.
I found a fracture in the pin block section of one headboard post. So I had to go back to the bench fot a repair.

The bed before finishing repairs begin to the existing finish.


Post are held in place with rope clamps.



Footboard assembled and clamped.




The mortise and tennon joint; bored, glued, and clamped.





Pieces of cherry have been added to a headboard spool.
